TTWe are delighted to announce One4all Bikes4Work and An Post as partners of the Irish Cycling Show
This partnership will bring a range of innovative products and services to the attention of our cycling fraternity including the One4all Bikes4Work Scheme, Cycle4Haiti charity event, the An Post Cycle Series and the An Post Rás.
One4all’s Bikes4work scheme enables you to take advantage of the Government’s Cycle to Work Scheme and gives you the largest choice of Ireland’s largest selection of bikes and equipment. Under the scheme, bicycles and safety equipment can be bought up to the value of €1,000 free of any Tax, PRSI or Universal Social Charge (USC), a saving of up to 52%.
One4all are also the creators of Cycle4haiti, a 228 km charity cycle to Galway starting from three different locations simultaneously, Dublin, Sligo and Cashel. All funds raised will go towards the great work of The Soul of Haiti Foundation.
It is a cycle full of fun, comradeship and determination, attracting cyclists from all walks of life and varying levels of fitness. Motivated by both the continued devastation in Haiti and the positive results that their efforts are having, this year’s aim is to have at least 500 people join this year’s cycle on the 5th & 6th of May and a goal to raise €300k for the Soul of Haiti Foundation.
The An Post Cycle Series is now in its fourth year, with over 13,500 cyclists of all abilities taking part. The Series includes five cycling events which take place between May and September each year. There is a distance to suit everyone and an online training plan to help people get started, visit www.anpost.ie/cycling to find out more.
Celebrating 60 years, the 2012 An Post Rás is an annual, eight-day, stage race around Ireland which has earned itself a worldwide reputation of being a gruelling challenge in the elite, international calendar. Deemed one of Ireland’s top sporting events, this year’s An Post Rás will take place from May 20th – 27th.
Starting in Dunboyne, Co. Meath the An Post Rás will move clockwise around the country, and includes stage finishes in Kilkenny, Gort, Westport, Bundoran, Buncrana, Killybegs and Cootehill, before concluding with the now-customary crowd-thronged finale in Skerries, North County Dublin. The route covers 1168 kilometres with 28 categorised climbs, including three of the country’s most challenging ascents. Find out all about the race at www.anpostras.ie
